દિવસો જુદાઈના જાય છે, એ જશે જરૂર મિલન સુધી:
મને હાથ ઝાલીને લઈ જશે, હવે શત્રુઓ જ સ્વજન સુધી.
ન ધરા સુધી,ન ગગન સુધી,નહી ઉન્નતિ,ન પતન સુધી,
અહીં આપણે તો જવુ હતું, ફકત એકમેકના મન સુધી.
હજી પાથરી ન શકયું સુમન પરિમલ જગતના ચમન સુધી,
ન ધરાની હોય જો સંમતિ, મને લૈ જશો ન ગગન સુધી.
છે અજબ પ્રકારની જીદંગી, કહો એને પ્યારની જીદંગી ;
ન રહી શકાય જીવ્યા વિના, ન ટકી શકાય જીવન સુધી.
તમે રાંકનાં છો રતન સમાં, ન મળો હે અશ્રુઓ ધૂળમાં,
જો અરજ કબૂલ હો આટલી તો હદયથી જાઓ નયન સુધી.
તમે રાજરાણીનાં ચીર સમ, અમે રંક નારની ચૂંદડી !
તમે બે ઘડી રહો અંગ પર, અમે સાથ દઈએ કફન સુધી.
જો હદયની આગ વધી ‘ગની’, તો ખુદ ઈશ્વરે જ કૃપા કરી;
કોઈ શ્વાસ બંધ કરી ગયું, કે પવન ન જાય અગન સુધી.

આ મહામૂલી ગઝલ આખરે મળી ગઇ!!
નાનપણથી આ ગઝલ અલપ-ઝલપ કોઇના કંઠે સાંભળવા મળતી, પણ અક્ષરસ: નહીં.
ઘણી જગ્યાએ શોધ કરી હતી, કદાચ મારી શોધમાં ખોટ હશે, પણ આજે આનંદ અને સંતોષનો પાર નથી.
કદચ મારી શોધ જ આ ગઝલ માટેની મારી ઉત્કંઠા તથા તરસ વર્ણવી શકે! એટલે આભાર તો કઇ રીતે માનું ? આ ગઝલ સર્વ સાહિત્ય્પ્રેમીઓ માટે પોતાના રક્તબુંદ સમાન છે એમ કહું તો અસ્થાને નહીં ગણાય.
ગનીભાઇ, આપે અમને તૃપ્ત કર્યાં છે.

Yes, indeed its one of the best Gujarati Gazals I have listen so far…
If anyone of you might want to know, Soli Kapadia has this gazal in his album : Taari Aankh No Afini . Though its not the complete one, it has just 3 paragraphs, but still… its sung so beautifully by him.

િદવસો જુદાઈ ના જાઈ છે ગઝલ નો ગુજરાતી ભાષા મા અર્થ મોઅકલવા આપને નમ્ િવનંતી

આ શબ્દો ખરેખર હર્દય હચમચાવી નાખે છે. આંખ મા આંસુ આવી જાય. ખરેખર પુજ્ય ગાંધીજી એ ભારત દેશ ની એક ગરીબ નારી ને ફક્ત એકજ (વસ્ત્ર) ચીર (કે જે તેના લગ્ન ની ચૂંદડી પણ તે અને કફન પણ તે ) મા જોયા તે નારી પાંસે બદલાવવા માટે બીજુ વસ્ત્ર ન હતુ. ત્યારથ પુજ્ય ગાંધીજી ઍ ફક્ત એક વસ્ત્ર જ જીવન પર્યન્ત અન્ત સુધી ધારણ કરવા ની પ્રિતજ્ઞા કરી. તે ઇિતહાસ પણ તદ્રશ થાય છે.

shabdo nathi mari pase aa aa ghazal ne birdaavavaa mate…
[...] ગનીચાચાની આ શિરમોર ગઝલ લયસ્તરો પર છે જ નહીં એવું જ્યારે શોધતા જણાયું ત્યારે આશ્ચર્યાઘાત અનુભવ્યો. લગભગ દોઢેક વર્ષ પહેલાં એસ.વી.ના બ્લૉગ પર આ ગઝલ મેં જ ટાઈપ કરીને મોકલી હતી ત્યારે હજી લયસ્તરોના કાફલામાં જોડાવાનું થયું નહોતું. એટલે આજે ત્યાંથી આ ગઝલ અહીં આયાત કરી રહ્યો છું. ગનીચાચાની આ ગઝલ એ રીતે તો અનન્ય છે જ કે આપણી ભાષામાં જવલ્લે જ ખેડાતા છંદ -લલગાલગા-ના આવર્તનો અહીં વપરાયા છે, પણ એ રીતે પણ અભૂતપૂર્વ છે કે આ ગઝલના સાત શે’ર એક જ અનુભૂતિના સાત સ્તરના ઈંદ્રધનુ સમા થયા છે. ગમે એટલીવાર વાંચો, આ ગઝલ વાંચતા જીવ ધરાય જ નહીં એની અમારી ગેરંટી… [...]

I was searching for this gazal for a long time, and finally I got it. It’s my favorite, b’coz it was my father’s favorite gazal. My father passed away a few years ago, but left behind his love to gujarati sahitya, gazals, music and his great nature. I heard him singing this gazal many times. I want myself to continue on his footsteps. I am trying to compile all his favorite collection-music, sahitya and put it in a DVD. I am really missing him
