“સ્ટીવ જોબ્સ”વિષે જરા જાણો !
તમે સાંભળ્યું હશે કે “સ્ટીવ જોબ્સ”એ કોમપ્યુટરની દુનિયામાં એક મહા-પરિવર્તન લાવ્યું છે…અને, “ઈ” યાને “ઈલોકટ્રોનીક” આધારીત વાર્તાલાપ, એના શરૂ કરેલા “એપલ”કોમપ્યુટર દ્વારા સરળતાથી થાય, એવું શક્ય કર્યું.
પણ…..તમે સ્ટીવ જોબ્સ વિષેની નીચેની વિગતો જરૂર જાણો>>>>>>
(૧) એ દર રવિવારે, ૭ માઈલ ચાલી, “હરે કૃષ્ણ હિન્દુ મંદિર” પહોંચી, ત્યાંનું બનતું એક સારૂં ભોજન લેતો.
(૨) એણે “સ્ટાનફોર્ડ યુનીવરસીટી”માં આપેલા ભાષણમાં એવું કહ્યું હતું…………………
“તમારું આત્મ બળ, ભાગ્ય, પ્રાણ, અને કર્મ અને એના ફળ આધારીત જીવન છે”.એવો પુર્ણ વિશ્વાસ હતો !
એ “કર્મ યોગ”નો શ્રધ્ધા સહીત પાલનકરનાર એક શિષ્ય હતો !
(૩) એણે રીશીકેશના અનેક આશ્રમોની મુલાકાતો લીધી હતી…ખાસ કરીને, “નીમ કરોલી બાબા”નો આશ્રમ ! એ હનુમાનજીને માનનાર એક ભક્ત હ્તો. પહેલીવાર, ભારતના દર્શન કર્યા બાદ, એ અમેરીકાથી ફરી ભારત નિહાળવા આવ્યો ત્યારે એણે એના મસ્તકના વાળનું મુંડન કરી, ભગવા સાધુ વેશ પહેર્યો હતો.
(૪) એ સાધુ વેશમાં ખુલ્લા પગે ચાલતો.
(૫)એ દરરોજ યોગની કસરતો કરતો, અને એ જીવનભર શાકાહારી રહ્યો હતો.
(૬)એણે ઉત્તર ભારતના અનેક આશ્રમોની મુલાકાત લીધી હતી, અનેક ધાર્મીક ધામે યોગ આસનો કર્યા હતા.
(૭) એણે ૧૯૭૦થી ભારતનો પ્રવાસ શરૂ કર્યો હતો , અને એ વિશ્વના સર્વ પ્રાણીઓનો ચાહક હતો.
(૮)જ્યારે એની પાસે નોકરી કે કોઈ કામ ના હતું ત્યારે એણે એના માતા પિતા પાસે પૈસા માંગ્યા ના હતા…..અને, જ્યાં જ્યાં એ ગયો ત્યાં એણે હિન્દુ મંદિરોમાં જઈ ભોજન કરવાનો પ્રયાસ કર્યો હતો.
(૯) એ શ્રધ્ધા સહીત હિન્દુ ધર્મ અને વેદોના જ્ઞાનને માન આપવા પ્રયાસ કર્યો હતો…અને, અન્યને પણ એવી સમજ આપવાનો એનો પ્રયાસ હતો.
(૧૦) એણે યુનીવરસીટીમાં ડીગ્રી કોર્સનો અભ્યાસ પુરો કર્યો ના હતો…પણ યુનીવરસીટીના મિત્રો સાથે સંપર્ક ચાલુ રાખ્યો હતો.
(૧૧) એની પોતાની કંપનીના મેનેજમેન્ટે એને ‘ચેરમેનશીપ”માથી છુટો કર્યો….અને ટુંક સમયમાં એને એની સત્તા પાછી આપી હતી
(૧૨) એવું કહેવામાં આવે છે કે હિમાલયના કોઈ સાધુએ એને એક લીલું સફરજન (એપલ) આપી દાતોથી બટકું લેવાનું સુચન કર્યું તે પ્રમાણે એ “એપલ”ને ફરી નિહાળતા જે દ્રશ્ય જોયું તે આધારીત એણે એના કોમપ્યુટરને “એપલ” નામ આપી એની નિશાની બનાવી હતી

You have heard about Mr. Steve Jobs who has revolutionized the world of computers and e based communications through his Apple computers. Do you know the following facts about Mr. Steve Jobs.
–He used to “walk 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna Hindu Temple”.
–He said in his Stanford University lecture “ you have to trust in your gut, destiny, life and Karma. He was a staunch believer of karma yoga.
–He visited many Ashrams in Risheekesh particularly Neem Karoli Baba ashram , a devotee of Hanuman. After visiting for the first time he returned from India to US with a shaved head and in traditional Indian robes.
–He used to walk in his company bare footed like a Hindu sanyaasee..
–He used to do Yoga daily and he was a perfect vegetarian till his last breath.
–He visits many ashrams in north India and used to do yoga in the holy places.
–He started touring India from 1970 onwards and he is a great lover of animals.
–He has not requested money from his parents even when he was jobless and generally took food from Hindu temples wherever he goes.
–He, religiously followed and spread the ‘ amazing Hindu dharma’ and Vedic messages.
–He did not complete his studies in the university but remained in university for discussing with his friends.
-He was removed from his own company by the management and latter on those management people were removed from their chair and Mr. Steve was brought back
–It is said that in Himalayas, one of the Hindu swamijies gave him a green apple and told him to bite it. He did and looked into the apple after biting a piece from that.

એક ઈમેઈલથી અંગ્રેજીમાં “સ્ટીવ જોબ્સ” વિષે લખાણ વાંચ્યું.
એ લખાણ નીચે હતી એક વિનંતી>>>>
“ગુજરાતીમાં ભાષાંતર કરવા વિનંતી “
કોઈ તરફથી આ કાર્ય થાય…મેં બીજા ઈમેઈલની વાટ જોઈ…પણ એવો જવાબ ના મળ્યો.
તો….મારૂં ગુજરાતી ભાષા જ્ઞાન અલ્પ હોવા છતાં મેં આ કાર્ય હાથમાં લીધું.
કદાચ ભુલો હશે…પણ જે શક્ય થયું એ જ પોસ્ટરૂપે અહી પ્રગટ કર્યું છે, અને સાથે “ઓરીજીનલ” અંગ્રેજી લખાણ પણ પ્રગટ કર્યું છે.

The information was about his thoughts on Hindu Philosophy in English…..I ventured to TRANSLATE it in GUJARATI. This was the basis of this Post. Later I thought of publishing OTHER FACTS of STEVE JOBS with some PHOTOS. Thus, the FINAL
PICTURE of the Post was CREATED.
